Question 1

1. Does Google say your whole Google account is restricted, not just one listing?

You might see this on the "My accounts" page, or you can't create or claim any profile.

Question 2

2. Have you (or anyone working for you) already sent Google an appeal for this?

Question 3

3. Do you serve customers in person, either at your location or by going to them?

Online-only businesses can't have a Google Business Profile.

Question 4

4. Is the address on your profile a P.O. box, mailbox store, virtual office, or a shared office without your own sign and staff?

Question 5

5. In the last couple of months, did you change your business name, address, phone number, website or categories?

Question 6

6. Does the business name on Google include anything that isn't on your sign, like your city, your services or a slogan?

Question 7

7. Do you travel to customers, but your street address is showing publicly on Google?

Question 8

8. Is there more than one Google listing for your business? For example an old location, an old name, or one somebody else made.

Search Google Maps for your business name and your phone number to check.

Question 9

9. Is the phone number on your profile a tracking number, a call centre, or a number you don't fully control?

Question 10

10. Does your website show a different name, address or phone number than your Google profile?

Want a proper answer?

This checker spots the common patterns. Our $49 CAD diagnosis looks at your actual profile and website, names the likely cause, and gives you a fix list and an evidence list before anything goes to Google. It's yours to keep either way.

How this checker works

Each question lines up with a rule in Google's Business Profile guidelines or its appeals process. A "Yes" (or sometimes a "No") flags the matching rule and tells you what Google says about it. "Not sure" answers are flagged as worth checking. It can't see your profile, so treat the results as a starting point.
