Your Google listing was suspended. Let's get it back properly.

When Google suspends your Business Profile, your business disappears from Google Maps and your phone goes quiet. Google gives you one appeal per decision, so it pays to find the real cause and fix it before you submit. That's what we do.

Start with a $49 diagnosis

Canadian business based in Milton, Ontario. We work with real businesses that serve customers in person, anywhere in Canada or the US.

How it works

  1. 1. DiagnosisWe check your profile and website against Google's published guidelines and find the most likely reason for the suspension.
  2. 2. Fix firstWe tell you exactly what to change and which documents to gather, so the appeal shows Google a business that clearly follows its rules.
  3. 3. AppealWe write the appeal and follow it through to Google's decision. If Google asks for a video, we tell you exactly what to film.
  4. 4. Back on MapsYou pay the main fee only if Google reinstates your profile.

Google Business Profile is a free service from Google. Our fees are for our time and expertise only. All fees are agreed in writing before we start.

What we will and won't do

  • You always stay the owner of your profile. We ask to be added as a Manager only, and we remove our access when the case is done or whenever you ask.
  • We never ask for your Google password.
  • We tell you about every change before we make it.
  • We never submit anything false. If a business doesn't meet Google's rules (for example a virtual office address), we'll tell you honestly and decline the case.
  • We don't guarantee reinstatement or rankings. Google makes every decision, and anyone who promises otherwise is not being straight with you.

Common questions

Should I appeal myself first?

You can, and Google's appeal tool is free. The catch is that each decision can be appealed only once, with a possible additional review after a denial. If you're not sure why you were suspended, it's worth finding out before you use that chance.

I already appealed and was denied. Can you still help?

Often, yes. After a denial there is usually one more route, an additional review where new evidence can be added. We'll tell you honestly in the diagnosis whether we think it's worth trying.

How long does it take?

The diagnosis takes 1 to 2 business days. After the appeal goes in, Google sets the timing. It can be days or a few weeks.

Are you part of Google?

No. Back on Maps is an independent Canadian business. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Will you contact me out of the blue?

No. We don't cold-call or cold-message suspended businesses. Google warns owners to be careful with people who reach out unasked offering help with their profile, and we agree. You contact us.
